Cherisse Stephens is a native of Buffalo, NY where she began singing and preaching at a very early age. Soon she was in demand to minister for conferences, youth crusades and other events. Cherisse has the ability to connect with people of all walks of life. She is noted for the Glory of the Lord that rests on her life. Cherisse has been described as “The Voice You’ve Been Waiting For…”

Cherisse was nourished in ministry by her father, Bishop Joseph Brinson, Sr. and served as Minister of Music and National Evangelist under his leadership. She was blessed to move to Atlanta, Ga where she is currently under the leadership of Bishop Bobby Henderson. She has also served as music coordinator and Evangelist under Bishop Henderson’s leadership.

Cherisse has been blessed to record two solo projects, entitled Due Season and In The Wait. These projects have been a blessing to the world at large. Cherisse has been nominated and given awards by Upscale Magazine, Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards, American Gospel Music Awards and many others. She has also been blessed to share the stage with many recording artists such as Yolanda Adams, Byron Cage, Smokie Norful, Shirley Caesars, Kelly Price, Hezekiah Walker and many more. Evangelist Stephens has also appeared on television for networks such as BET, The Word Network, Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), Channel 57 and other networks.

She has been blessed to minister for organizations such as The National Church Of God In Christ (COGIC), Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship (FGBCF), Mt. Calvary Holiness Churches Of America and AME Churches as well as non-denominational organizations.

Cherisse is also a media specialist in the Gospel music industry. She has co-hosted for television with Dr. Bobby Jones, and interviewed celebrity personalities such as Bishop T.D. Jakes, Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Kirk Franklin, Barlow Girl, Nicole C. Mullen, CeCe Winans, Fred Hammond, The Clark Sisters, Reuben Studdard, Kelly Price, Donald Lawrence, Rodney Jerkins and others.
