Old Souls
“I never thought that people in this day and age could lose so much in a short span of time and it hit me.” relays Trotter, who pastors the Sweet Holy Spirit Church in Chicago.
Two tracks – the title cut and “Made A Way” – are already in heavy rotation at gospel radio and Trotter is in the midst of an unofficial “One Song, One Word, One Hour Tour” in which he appears at a church, sings two songs an d then preaches – all in one hour. An appearance on TBN is in the works.
“This is a great album and people are interested in his testimony,” says Tyscot Records executive Bryant Scott. “You can look at him and see the dramatic changes, so we expected that the CD would do well.”
Produced by Vashawn Mitchell (who also offers guest vocals), the album features an interview with Trotter and Donald Lawrence.
